This laptop has been discontinued. For a replacement model, refer to the Vaio C Series page. Sony VPCCA15FX/W is a Vaio C Series notebook. This is a prebuilt system that has a 14" display. Introduced to the public in late March of 2011, the Vaio C Series is a class of laptops that is designed to cater to portable performance entertainment computing solutions. They are most notably distinguished by their incorporation of Intel’s 2nd generation processors, discrete graphics, and neon color designs. Model VPCCA15FX/W is a Vaio Signature Collection C Series system. This means that the laptop is part of a premier group of Sony laptops that have special hardware configurations and designs. These laptops are offered only for a limited time, usually it’s seasonal. Vaio VPCCA15FX/W is considered to be one of the more affordable Vaio C Series prebuilt laptops. It doesn’t have several of the premium features that many other Vaio C Series prebuilt laptops have, one example being a Blu-ray Disc player. Other than that, the VPCCA15FX/W has a preconfigured setup much similar to other 14" Vaio C Series systems. It uses an Intel Core i5-2410M (2.30GHz / 2.90GHz) processor and carries with it 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, CD/DVD player, HDMI output port and an AMD discrete graphics solution with 1GB VRAM. The VPCCA15FX/W comes in a Silvery White color design. It weighs 5.41 lbs. and has a battery life of up to 5.5 hours on default brightness. |
